2014 Bowl Games: Music City Bowl

Where: LP Field, Nashville, Tennessee
When: December 30, 2014, 3pm ET
Who: vs. SEC team

Ease of Travel: Moderate. It would be about a three-hour direct flight to Nasvhille, and those are available out of Logan Airport. Driving it could be about 16 to 18 hours, which is just at the edge of “we can rent an RV” range.

Desirability: Moderate to high. Nashville is by all accounts a fun city, and there would be things for Boston College fans to do here pre-game and post-game.

Likelihood of Getting Invited: Somewhat low, maybe moderate.

Boston College has been here before, so it is not as though the Eagles could never get invited back. Again, a lot depends on the teams available.

Getting to play an SEC team could mean a high-profile matchup, if only because the media would focus on the fact that an SEC team is involved, and obviously talk more about the SEC team we face than us.
