The good news is that Notre Dame no longer utilizes the services of goalie Steven Summerhays, the netminder who stood Boston College on their heads during the Hockey East Tournament.
The bad news is that they still play a style of defensive hockey that ground Boston College down and made the Eagles look like they were skating in mud. Two games to end the season in the boring cornfields will probably be tough to watch and even tougher for Boston College to win.
If we’re fortunate, the Eagles might have figured out how to play against this team, or maybe the lack of Summerhays will open things up for this younger team.
