Week 7 College Football Rankings: Florida State Tops Again


Prior to Week 6, we notched Florida State down a spot in favor of the explosive Oregon Ducks. For our Week 7 college football rankings, in acknowledgement of Oregon imploding as opposed to exploding, the Seminoles have been returned to their rightful place.

In fact, Oregon was not alone, as several top ten teams went down to defeat in Week 6. This has given us a major shake-up in college football and the playoff race.

Week 7 College Football Rankings: The Real Polls

Florida State is number one in both the AP and USA Today poll. Auburn has slid back up to number two. The two Mississippi SEC schools are tied for third in the AP. Alabama has dropped to seventh in both, and Oregon is out of the top ten.

This week, we have unranked Stanford (previously #14), LSU (15), Wisconsin (17), and BYU (19).

The pick for 25th came down to Clemson and Stanford, and we gave it to Clemson as they’ve looked a bit better overall and seem to be back on the upswing.
