2014 Boston College Football Predictions: Andrew
I have pretty high expectations for this team despite all the pieces they lost from last year. I think Addazio has brought some real nice recruits that can play from Day 1, starting with DL Harold Landry and DB Issac Yiadom. We also have an experienced quarterback in Tyler Murphy that plays right into Addazio’s preferred offensive system, and a schedule that allows him some room to get his feet wet early.
I really think our schedule lines up favorably for us. After the UMass cupcake, we are tested early with Pitt and USC both at home followed by Maine, Colorado State, and NC State. If we are 5-1 or even 4-2 going into the second half of the season, I like Boston College’s chances at qualifying for a bowl game.
FSU, Clemson and USC would all be pretty big upsets, but other than that, we should be a favorite or a small underdog in every game.
I’ve drank the Kool-Aid. I’m all in on Addazio.
Prediction: 8-4 (5-3)
