2014 Top 6 Most Difficult Boston College Football Games

1. at Florida State (November 22)

Boston College facing the defending national champions and a potential playoff team in their own building. Should be a doozy, and not necessarily in a good way.

The Eagles took pride in the fact that they gave the Seminoles their second-most difficult game overall last year, pushing Florida State to a (relatively) narrow two-touchdown win at Alumni Stadium. This time, the action shifts to Doak Campbell Stadium and if they aren’t careful, it could look more like their 2012 embarrassment at said stadium as opposed to last year’s respectable performance at home.

Florida State is a well-oiled machine right now and it is truly difficult to picture the Eagles winning, even if it should turn out that they have a decent, bowl-qualifying season. Then again, the basketball team was incomprehensibly horrible and they beat the #1 team in the nation in their own pressurized dome, so anything can happen. The games are played for a reason, right?
