2014 Boston College Backs Preview: Richard Wilson, RB Backup

Our Preview: Richard Wilson, RB

With the discussion revolving around Myles Willis, Marcus Outlow, and Jon Hilliman, it can be hard to remember Richard Wilson, but he is present and ready to contribute.

Wilson made waves as a high schooler at running back, making Michigan’s all-state first team last season as a senior while averaging nearly seven yards per carry.

Similarly to the other more prominent running backs on the Eagles this season, Wilson is up over 200 pounds (212 to be exact) and is another bigger body to throw at opposing defensive lines.

Wilson is a definite redshirt candidate, given the number of possibilities that the Eagles have here at running back, but if he does not redshirt, expect a limited number of snaps and/or a move to a special teams role, possibly as a kick returner.
