Boston College Roadmap to Bowl Eligibility: The Middle

The six games that do not fall to either extreme are in the middle. As you will see shortly, some of the projected Vegas lines for these games are direr than games we have in the “write-off” category, but there are varying degrees of difficulty within this subset.

Wake Forest, for example, is a game much closer to the must-win category than the other end, but is not quite a layup like Maine.

Meanwhile, Louisville and Clemson are very close to being write-offs, but either one seems like they could potentially be what the Virginia Tech game was last season – the one the Eagles were not “supposed” to win, but did.

The following are some projections on Vegas point spreads. The majority of the below are Golden Nugget projections, while the rest are our estimates.
