PF Burns commits to Notre Dame

Boston College missed out on a three-star power forward this weekend when Elijah Burns picked semi-ACC rival Notre Dame.
Other than Notre Dame and Boston College, there were few other major-conference teams on his list of offers, but it did include Seton Hall, Rhode Island, and Temple.
The coaching staff has been out recruiting this weekend as a team but still only have the commitment of Idrissa Diallo in the bank so far, plus the transfer of Dmitri Batten. There are no 2015 recruits yet, and that is taking into account the decommitment of Jeremy Miller.
Boston College was a finalist for Weymouth native Jared Terrell, but he went to the Rhode Island Rams instead after having decommitted from Oklahoma State.
