Calgary Flames prospect John Gaudreau looks to take next NHL step

Randy Sportak, Calgary Sun

Obligatory Johnny Gaudreau piece to help whet your collective appetites for hockey even though it’s the middle of the summer and football season is far closer.

Young Mister Gaudreau now calls Alberta his home, and he is in the process of becoming wealthy. He also seeks to build a solid National Hockey League career with the Calgary Flames, the team that took a chance on drafting him despite his size and now looks like they are getting one talented, accomplished player.

In just one career NHL game, Gaudreau already has the “goals” column of his stat sheet filled out, with many more likely to come over the years. Gaudreau shares with the readers some of the advice he has received from seasoned NHL veterans and others, and speaks with excitement about the days ahead.

We continue to wish Johnny (and Bill Arnold and all of our other Eagles in the NHL) all the best as they forward their hockey careers.
