Every Boston College NHL Playoff Point: April 28

Former Boston College Eagles have acquitted themselves well in the 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs so far. Unfortunately, the lone Eagle who notched a point on April 28 also saw his season come to an end.
The first ex-Eagle to exit the playoffs with his team is Cam Atkinson of the Columbus Blue Jackets, who found his way onto the score sheet for the last time during the 2013-14 season. The Jackets lost a 4-3 game to the Eagle-heavy Pittsburgh Penguins, who will face either the New York Rangers or Philadelphia Flyers in the next round. Pittsburgh led in the game 4-0, but Columbus came storming back late in the third period, only to fall short in the end.
Speaking of the Rangers and Flyers, Game 6 of that series is tonight. If the Rangers win, they move on to that next round against Pittsburgh. Brian Boyle is already playing, but another round would mean the possible return of Chris Kreider this season. Kreider is recovering from a broken hand suffered during the regular season in March.
Anyhoo, on to the point of the night:
