Boston College Eagles football’s 2015 recruiting class continues to grow, as on Thursday the team picked up its third new commitment in less than two weeks.

Offensive lineman John Phillips, of Syracuse, New York, verballed to Steve Addazio and staff, becoming the fourth 2015 recruit to join.

Phillips, who will next year be a senior at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, measures in at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds.

Little else is available on the newcomer as none of the recruiting agencies have rated him, but there is at least a piece of YouTube footage available from his 2013 season, where he appeared to play right tackle:

All indications are that Boston College is planning to load up on offensive linemen with their next class. Out of four current 2015 recruits, just one does not play on the offensive line.

We welcome John to the Heights
