2. November 18, 2010: Yale Defeats Boston College, 75-67

One of the worst losses of the Donahue era was the first.

The Eagles were getting used to losing to Harvard, but this time, they threw Yale into the mix. Somehow, Donahue plowed through the Ivy League with his Cornell teams but struggled against them with his ACC program.

Yale, then a middle-of-the-road Ivy League team, went to Conte Forum and beat the Eagles by eight. It was the first of 76 games that the coach would drop on the Heights. Importantly, that bad loss would stick with the team all year and contributed to them not making the NCAA Tournament in Donahue’s first season.
