By Joe Micik
The #2 Boston College Eagles are still flying high as they approach the Beanpot. In fact, one could say they’re soaring to glory.
One things towards which they are definitely soaring, amongst other things, is the Hockey East title.

Boston College is four points away from wrapping up another trophy, or one win against UMass-Lowell.
This team has worked very hard to get where it is now — running away with the conference — and there is not much ground left to cover.
Now, aside from winning the Beanpot on Monday, the focus is turning towards things beyond wrapping up the regular season title: the Hockey East Tournament and getting into the best-possible position for the NCAA Tournament. That means staying at the top of the PairWise Rankings by beating other top competition like Northeastern and UMass-Lowell (the former is the practical application of the Beanpot final which transcends the tournament itself) and securing the Worcester regional.
