NSD 2014: Will Mahar Signs Letter of Intent for Boston College Football

Kicker Will Mahar officially signed a national letter of intent to play for Boston College Eagles football in 2014 on Wednesday, National Signing Day.
He is chronologically the 27th member of this class, having committed to join Head Coach Steve Addazio’s football program last week on January 31.
Mahar will come to Boston College as a recruited walk-on from McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, New York. In addition to playing at kicker, Mahar has also been listed at safety and wide receiver, either of which could present added opportunity for him given the depth at both. His measurables are height of 6-foot-2 and weight of 180 pounds.
The recruiting services did not rate Mahar.
