NSD 2014: Thaddius Smith Signs Letter of Intent for Boston College Football

Athlete Thaddius Smith officially signed a national letter of intent to play for Boston College Eagles football in 2014 on Wednesday, National Signing Day.

He was the fifth recruit to verbally commit to the class, having committed to join Head Coach Steve Addazio’s program on April 15th.

Thadd Smith comes out of Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, Pennsylvania. In high school, he played wide receiver, running back, and defensive back. He projects to be a wide receiver at the college level, a position where the Eagles will need depth going forward.

Smith is rated as a three- star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and 247. Smith measures in at 5’9″ and 170 lb., and runs a 4.55 40.
