NSD 2014: Richard Wilson Signs Letter of Intent for Boston College Football
By Joe Micik
Running back Richard Wilson officially signed a national letter of intent to play for Boston College Eagles football in 2014 on Wednesday, National Signing Day.
He was the 21st recruit to verbally commit to the class, having committed to join Steve Addazio’s football program on July 8, 2013.
Wilson, Boston College’s lone recruit from Michigan in this class, has been listed as an athlete by Rivals, but is a running back. A 5-foot-11, 210 pound rusher, he played his high school football at Country Day.
247 and ESPN gave Wilson three stars during his recruitment, while Rivals listed him as a two-star recruit. ESPN ranked Wilson as Michigan’s 15th-best recruit. His 40 time has been revealed as 4.5 seconds with a vertical of 33″. Wilson’s offer sheet was mostly populated with MAC schools, as he turned down Ball State, Eastern Illinois, and all of the directional Michigan schools: Western, Central, and Eastern.
