NSD 2014: James Hendren Signs Letter of Intent for Boston College Football
By Kyle Egan
Offensive tackle James Hendren officially signed a national letter of intent to play for Boston College football in 2014 on Wednesday, National Signing Day.
He was the 11th recruit to verbally commit to the class, having committed to join Head Coach Steve Addazio’s program on May 30th.
Hendren is a local from Brookline, Massachusetts going to the Dexter School. Obviously, Hendren excelled at the offensive tackle position for Dexter.
The massive 6’7″, 300 lb. Hendren was rated as a three-star recruit by all of the major recruiting services. Hendren was also offered by Arkansas, Penn State, and Vanderbilt among others but was determined to go to the local college, which fits with Addazio’s “fence” plan.
Hendren can be found on Twitter at his handle @jhendren70.
The Boston College community welcomes James Hendren to the Heights.
