In the days leading up to National Signing Day, Boston College has been looking to bolster its already strong class and have received a commitment from a player out of Westminster High School in Atlanta, Georgia, Austin Chapman.

Not much is known about Chapman as no major recruiting service has posted a thing about him, but a tweet was delivered by his personal account confirming his commitment and the retweets by fellow Boston College recruits slightly verifies it.

According to Chapman’s Hudl page he is 6’4 240lbs and also plays on his school’s basketball team. He also lists his football positions as tight end, defensive end, and offensive tackle. It seems that this is more of a walk on opportunity than an actual offer from Boston College at the moment. We will keep you posted though.

Anyways, we’d like to welcome Austin Chapman to the Heights as the 28th member of the 2014 recruiting class.
