A very solemn goodbye

Kevin Pierre-Louis

A four star recruit from Frank Spaziani’s reign who showed blasts of talent but injuries stole KPL’s chance of becoming a Boston College legend. He had his best season in 2013 compiling 108 tackles(67 solo) along with 6 sacks and an interception. KPL figures to be drafted in the later rounds of the NFL Draft, if not signed immediately as an undrafted free agent. His athleticism and natural talent should be very attractive to any professional squad.

Steele Divitto

Divitto had arguably the greatest name in college football along with his teammate Spiffy Evans. Building on very solid 2011 and 2012 seasons, Divitto, like his teammate KPL, had his best statistical year in 2013. Divitto made 112 tackles(54 solo) and sacked the quarterback 3 times, along with an interception. Steele should be given a hard look by any NFL team looking to bolster their front seven.

My Prediction

Steven Daniels will get more snaps and become a star on the Heights. Connor Strachan will struggle early as a freshman adjusting to the college play, but eventually his speed and athleticism will begin to show. The other starting spots? Well, it will be a battle between Josh Keyes and everyone else. Expect Marquis Little to put up a good fight and get substantial time on the field as a backup. But, all in all, this group will take some time to adjust to the loss of KPL and Steele Divitto but they will move on and impress the Boston College fan base.
