Christian Lezzer

Lezzer committed relatively early to Boston College on May 5th 2013. The three star inside linebacker from Clearfield High School in Pennsylvania also had offers from Arizona, Rutgers and Temple among others. According to ESPN, Lezzer “has the height, playing strength and athleticism for the inside linebacker position at the BCS level of play”. Lezzer figures to be a “tough, developmental prospect who must add weight to his frame”. It seems like a lot of the linebacking corps picked up in the 2014 class need some polishing and Lezzer certainly isn’t an exception.

Kevin Cohee

Cohee is a local kid from Roxbury Latin measuring in at 6’3 240lbs choosing Boston College on April 20th over offers from UConn and UMass. ESPN scouts describe Cohee as a “tough physical player capable of dominating opponents when in one-on-one situations…[who] will need time and a redshirt year to develop the technical skills needed to play linebacker at the BCS level of competition”. Another project for Steve Addazio.

Kevin Bletzer

Another local kid, this time from Catholic Memorial, joins the Eagles’ linebackers in Kevin Bletzer. The two star outside linebacker committed to Boston College on June 16th over offers from hmm, no one. Bletzer comes in at 6’1 183lbs and also was a lacrosse player in high school. Bletzer went to Boston College’s camp and was offered by coach Kevin Lempa. The offering of a recruit who looks to be a project, demonstrates Coach Addazio’s willingness to get all of the local Boston players to come to the Heights as a sign for future recruits in the are that Boston College is the place to go.
