2.) Would it be fair to say (and I’m assuming it is) that Ka’Deem Carey was Arizona’s MVP this year? What has made him play so well?

JA: Yes, Ka’Deem Carey has been Arizona’s MVP this year and it is because he has been a workhorse.

In the state of Arizona, you would have to say Carey is a tad bit better than Marion Grice. Carey this year almost had a 2,000-yard rushing season. This season alone he had a 100-yard rushing game in every game he played, and then had a great game against Oregon with 200-plus rushing yards.

Don’t be surprised if you see Carey’s name being called as the first running back off the board in the 2014 NFL Draft.

1.) Aside from Carey, who are some other Wildcats players who figure to have big games at the former Independence Bowl?

JA: Some other Wildcats players to keep your eye on include quarterback B.J. Denker. He is not Nick Foles, but he is a running threat at quarterback if you don’t contain him; that will open up the Wildcat passing game. Denker alone has 898 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.

On the defensive side, be on the lookout for safety Tra’Mayne Bondurant. He is a playmaker and has four interceptions on the season.
