2013 AdvoCare V100 Bowl: By Car
Road trip, anyone? Hope the RV is gassed up because this one’s a doozy: Shreveport is about a 24-hour drive from Boston proper, coming in at somewhere over 1,600 miles one-way.
In the event you have no RV but were breaking it into two days, half-way would be somewhere near Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
If you live in the South, this is maybe a slightly more palatable option. Even so, it’s about a nine-hour drive from Atlanta, five hours from New Orleans, three hours from Dallas, and you might as well fly from anywhere south of Tallahassee.
For our West Coast Eagle alumni, Shreveport is about the same car ride from Los Angeles as it is from Boston, with a lot less to see in between.
This is admittedly an unappealing option given that it will officially be winter and conditions somewhere along the line may be hazardous, aside from the fact that it’s an obscenely long trip.
