Boston College seniors Andre Williams, Nate Freese, and Kevin Pierre-Louis were named to the 2013 All-ACC First Team on Monday, amongst nine Eagles who qualified for All-ACC recognition.

Williams, the nation’s leading rusher, was the only unanimous selection of any first-team candidate this year as he was selected first on all 65 ballots. Freese’s near-perfection in 2013 earned him the spot as the league’s top placekicker. Finally, Pierre-Louis came in third amongst the league’s top linebackers as voted upon by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA).

Boston College’s recognized athletes were as follows:

First Team
RB: Andre Williams, senior
LB: Kevin Pierre-Louis, senior
PK: Nate Freese, senior

Second Team
OT: Matt Patchan, senior

Third Team
WR: Alex Amidon, senior
C: Andy Gallik, junior
DE: Kasim Edebali, senior
LB: Steele Divitto, senior

Honorable Mention
OT: Ian White, senior

Congratulations to all of the Eagles who were named.
