35. Andre has 0 receptions on the season. He also has 0 targets. (Note: he doesn’t have the softest hands in the world. But that is something that his prep team can help him with before the NFL Combine and Draft).

36. Andre has accounted for 51% of BC’s offense this season.

We are getting into the nitty gritty here, folks. The creme de la creme of player we know as Andre, but the world now knows as Andre2ooo. Here are the statistics he leads the FBS in this season:

37. Carries: 320.

38. Average carries per game: 29.09

39. Rushing Yards: 2,073. (The next closest are Bishop Sankey of the University of Washington with 1575 and Ka’Deem Carey of Arizona with 1559).

40. Average rushing yards per game: 188.4.

And here we are, the Final Four things to know about BC’s Andre Williams:

41. He is a Doak Walker Award finalist. This award honors the top college football running back. Andre should be a shoe-in for the victory.

42. According to ESPN’s Heisman Watch, Andre is second behind Florida State’s Jameis Winston and ahead of Alabama’s A.J. McCarron in Heisman nomination voting. From the panel he received 6 second place votes, 3 third place votes, 1 fourth place vote, and 2 fifth place votes.

43. He will be a Heisman trophy finalist. With the ebb and flow of elite quarterbacks in the Heisman Watch, Andre has stormed (literally) onto the scene and has made a statement regarding his candidacy. If he rushes for anything more than 150 yards against Syracuse this weekend, he will be in New York on December 14th.

And……..

44. Andre is the most outstanding football player in the FBS this season. Whether or not he wins the Heisman or is recognized by the media for what he has done, he has proven time and time again this season that he is the best.

Teams are putting 9 men in the box. They know Andre is going to get the ball. BC knows they are going to give the ball to Andre. And yet no one can stop him. He, along with Coach Steve Addazio and countless other senior leaders, has helped to turn the Eagles’ program back around. After a 2-10 season in 2012, BC is 7-4 and poised to go bowling.

Thank you to Andre for all he has done for this program this season, and all he will continue to do. Here is to having a few more ‘things to know’ to add to this list at the end of the season.

As always, go Eagles!
