11. Again in his senior year at Parkland High, he ran for 33 touchdowns. On 128 carries. Every four times he would touch the ball he ended up in the endzone. He definitely peaked in high school.

12. But rivals.com didn’t think so. He was only considered a 3-star recruit as a senior.

13. He was rated as the 44th-best running back prospect in the nation. Think Andre has a chip on his shoulder?

14. His choice of number sounds a lot like Maurice Jones-Drew choosing number 32 when all 32 NFL teams passed him up in the NFL draft. (By the way if you didn’t catch it, Andre wears number 44 for BC and he was the 44th-best running back prospect according to rivals.com. I just wanted to make sure you were paying attention to the nuances.)

15. Andre committed to BC on February 3, 2010 over offers from Temple, Akron, and Vanderbilt.

16. Williams is a senior in the Lynch School of Education.

17. He is set to graduate this December (a semester ahead of schedule).

18. Dre is double majoring: in applied psychology and human development. It sure seems like he uses that knowledge on the field, making poor, poor defenders look like hapless teens with mommy issues, wallowing on the turf.

19. He is a smarty pants: being a recepient of The Fish Cornerstone Scholarship Fund, one of nearly 300 endowed funds at BC to support financial aid for student-athletes. Among the most prestigious endowments are full position scholarships and cornerstone funds– like the one Andre received.

20. He is a teaching assistant for the Freshman seminar at BC entitled “Courage to Know.” Honestly, how cool would it be to have the best running back in the country grading your homework? Unless of course he is as tough on you as he is on opposing defenses. Poor freshmen.
