3. …Though, after a solid start to the year, things have been a little bumpy for Maryland lately. Do you think the team turned a corner with the win over the Hokies, and how do you expect this team to play on Saturday?

Ah, the second part. The team didn’t turn a corner, so to speak, as much as they just got healthy and things started clicking offensively for the first time in weeks. In particular, C.J. Brown looked like C.J. Brown once again, and he picked up his first ever ACC victory last week. That was the biggest hurdle mentally for him, I think. No one likes to struggle during conference play, when it matters the most. If he gets has his confidence back, this team can play with just about anyone (except Florida State). He’s gotten a chance.

The bump against Syracuse is just an example of how bad this team can be when they aren’t healthy and in synch. The defense will always be pretty formidable under Brian Stewart, but they have to stay off the field a little more often, and that falls on the offense.
