Oh boy, wouldn’t that be a disaster?
You bet it would.
This needs to be Boston College’s fifth win; to lose would be not only an embarrassing upset (24-point favorites, you know), but it would make a bowl game not only a longer shot but kind of a farce. I mean, you’re gonna follow up beating Virginia Tech with losing to New Mexico State? The New Mexico Lobos have beaten virtually nobody else this year and even they beat the Aggies by almost 50.
Under no circumstances would this be excusable loss, even with the road factor; to say otherwise would be a symptom of delusion.
