Boston College at North Carolina: 5 Big Questions

2. Who wins this matchup: UNC LT James Hurst or BC DE Kasim Edebali?
Not everyone on North Carolina’s offensive line is green. Senior James Hurst is considered a high-level NFL prospect at left tackle and this week, he draws Boston College’s right defensive end, Kasim Edebali. Edebali has been no slouch this year, either, and he’s leading the team in sacks and is tied for most tackles for a loss.
It’s fair to expect that both guys will have their moments, but I would think a stalemate on the left side of the offense might happen. Boston College will probably get the pressure through where North Carolina is weaker, which is to say, on the other side where there’s a redshirt freshman right tackle, and in some of the other gaps being defended by more inexperienced blockers. If Edebali beats Hurst regularly, it could be a long day for the Tar Heels offense.
