4. Will this game be more like Florida State, USC, or neither?

One could see how it might have some elements of both, in that in both games, the opposing team scored a lot. That will probably be the case here.

Otherwise, this game feels like a “neither.” It is a different situation than either game. USC was a down-and-out but nevertheless talented team which struggled to find an offensive identity and had a less than captive audience. Florida State was on the road and had an identity on offense. Clemson is at home, will have an engaged crowd, has an identity on both sides of the ball, and is legitimately contending for the whole proverbial enchilada. Boston College has not encountered a scenario like this yet, though they have seen similar elements in a few previous games which will be important for their preparation.
