For the previous two days, the status of the game had been in question due to the federal government shutdown. Thankfully, the players will not be held responsible for events out of their control.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern.
UPDATE: Not so fast.
Media reports that the game will be played on schedule have been downplayed by Athletic Director Brad Bates.
We have just learned that a decision on the status of the BC-Army game will not be made until tomorrow. We will continue to post updates.
