Boston College is coming out of their bye week and going right back into the skillet as the #8 Florida State Seminoles roll into town.
For some insight into the Seminoles and what we can expect to see from this team, which has already proven to be very good, we spoke to Jack Jorgensen, el gran presidente of Chop Chat, FanSided’s Florida State Seminoles outfit.
5. Two years ago, it seemed like Jimbo Fisher was despised for not winning enough. Now, an Orange Bowl win and a 3-0 start later, we don’t hear much of that. Has Fisher quieted his doubters and how do FSU fans see him now?
JJ: I mean, this goes without saying, but Jimbo didn’t exactly have the easiest task in the world, taking over for Bobby Bowden. The Orange Bowl victory did help a lot, but there’s still one more hurdle he needs to clear before some of the fan base lays off just a little bit, and that’s not losing a game that they’re not supposed to. 2011 it was Wake Forest, last year it was NC State; it’s that one last monkey he needs to get off of his back. I don’t think that our fan base demands undefeated seasons every year, but we certainly don’t expect to keep dropping games against sub-par opponents.
