2. How likely is it that Boston College will continue pounding the run against Wake Forest?
Very. Steve Addazio loves running the football and he has said it since the day he got here. If Andre Williams were slated to miss this game, which he isn’t at this point, it still would be likely that BC would give it to Dave Dudeck and Tyler Rouse for most of the carries. Boston College will especially use the run to open up the pass, as well they should because Chase Rettig and the Eagles looked good on play action last Saturday.
In accepting that it will be part of the gameplan, it should also be stated that the run should be used responsibly. There were a few situations in which a run did not seem to be prudent, but there could also be reasons why they chose to do so to which we are not privy. Either way, Boston College is going to pound the football on Friday.
