Viva Las Cruces!

Boston College reunites with former offensive coordinator Doug Martin in this road game. Their old conference, the WAC, is dead, which might work out for the Aggies because they got swept in conference play last season, anyway.

Despite Army beating BC last year and having a very slightly better record (because of beating us), this game is ranked higher because it’s on the road. I wouldn’t think that Doug Martin is going to have much of a strategic advantage in knowing how things are done here and knowing the players, because a completely different coaching staff has been installed.

This will be a very new setting for BC, playing in New Mexico, that is, but irrespective of that, it’s a game that the Eagles can and should win.
