Who Wears 36 Now
Bobby Wolford, LB, redshirt freshman
Wolford redshirted his first year at Boston College and could work his way into some game action this year. A Jacksonville native, Wolford had 122 tackles as a high school senior at Bishop Kenny.
Griff Rogan, WR, junior
Rogan is a walk-on entering his second season on the Boston College football team. He has not yet appeared in a game for the Eagles. Rogan is a Long Islander who played his high school ball at Chaminade.

• Silvio Conte, B, 1944-45. Late congressman and namesake of Conte Forum.
• Brian Flores, LB, 2000-03. Current New England Patriots defensive assistant coach.
• James McCluskey, FB, 2007-10. 2010 team captain; current Oakland Raider.

William Green and Troy Stradford co-own the program record for career touchdowns scored with 36.
Looking Spiffy
Spiffy Evans’ longest catch of the 2012 season was a 36-yarder. Of course, he had a kickoff return that was much, much longer.
Just As Good
Fullback Jake Sinkovec’s longest reception of the season was also 36 yards.
Three-For-Three
Nate Freese had three 36-yard attempts last season and he made all of them. They came in the Maryland, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech games.
Could Have Used 3 Field Goals
Boston College’s only points of the 1940 Cotton Bowl against Clemson came on a 36-yard field goal. They lost, 6-3.

Matt Ryan threw 36 pass attempts as the Eagles beat Boise State on the smurf turf in the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl.
