By Joe Micik
There are now 44 days remaining until the start of the 2013 Boston College football season. The next repeating numbers you’ll see are 33, 22, 11…and the one you’re waiting for, 00.
Who Wears 44 Now
Danny Wild-USA TODAY SportsAndre Williams, RB, senior
Here is your starting running back for the Eagles in the 2013 season, with all things remaining as they should. Williams has battled some injury issues over his time with Boston College, but nobody would argue that there’s not talent in those legs.
Last year, Williams broke the all-time Boston College record with the longest run in Eagles history, a 99-yard touchdown at Army in October. In nine games, he led the team with 599 yards on the ground and with a more competent offensive attack this season, Williams could be headed for a big season.
