The good news is that there are only 52 days left until the start of the Boston College Eagles football season in 2013. The bad news is that there are 52 days left.

Who Wears 52 Now

Steven Daniels, LB, sophomore

Here’s another fine linebacker from the St. X pipeline. Daniels had the curious distinction of being the prized recruit in two classes. He was first intended to join the Eagles in the entry class of 2011, but he had to spend a year out in Worcester Academy getting on the good side of the admission folks in Devlin Hall. Once he was able to do that, this talented young linebacker came to Chestnut Hill in time for the 2012 season.

There was no sense in redshirting him after he already fell a year back at Worcester, so he played in 2012 as a true freshman. In ten games, he made 25 tackles.
