Who Most Recently Wore 54

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Clancy, LB

Clancy was one of those fly-under-the-radar guys in his first several years at Boston College — it’s hard to stand out as a linebacker when Luke Kuechly is soaking up all the tackles at an astronomical rate. When Kuechly left, Clancy took the lead and, in 2012, was tops on the Eagles by far in tackles with 145, an increase of 126 from his junior year when he had 19. That 145 figure led the ACC last season.

This all-ACC first-team linebacker signed with Matt Ryan’s Atlanta Falcons after the draft.
