November 25, 2012: Bryant beats Boston College basketball for first time ever
It seems like every year, Boston College basketball is compelled to suffer a titanic WTF loss. In 2012-13, that was Bryant at Conte Forum.
That basketball program had never taken the Eagles down, but in a shocking twist, the Bulldogs defeated BC, 56-54.
Olivier Hanlan had a good game with 19 points (one of many) while Joe Rahon had 11, but outside of the two freshmen in the backcourt, yeesh. The Eagles found a way to lose a game in which the other team shot 32.8% from the floor, and part of that was because of 15 turnovers.
Losing to an NEC team at home showed that the Eagles just weren’t ready yet, but the good news is that by the time the year was over, things were looking a lot more rosy.
