Boston College Spring Football Game Cancelled
By Joe Micik

In light of the ongoing dangerous situation in Boston and the immediate suburbs, Boston College Athletics announced on Friday afternoon that the 21st Annual Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Football Game has been cancelled. The game was scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1pm and would have been preceded by the inaugural Maroon & Gold alumni flag football game.
It would appear at this time that the game will not be rescheduled.
All Friday classes were cancelled at Boston College as the school’s two municipalities, Boston and Newton, remain in an emergency state.

Our law enforcement community has done a phenomenal job this past week, and we do not want our events to serve as a distraction.
