4. Last year, Boston College saw Tommy Rees at quarterback. Now, it’s Everett Golson. How do the two compare, and do you think the Irish are better offensively with Golson this year?

STS: The only way that these two quarterbacks compare is that they both wear the same jersey. Other than that, their styles are completely different. Golson is a more adept runner than Rees. In addition, Golson is able to throw the ball down the field with ease. These two aspects of Golson’s game allow Kelly to expand the playbook to things that Rees was just not physically capable of doing. Golson does not have the same football mind that Rees does but he usually makes up for it with his athleticism.
