1.) If BC wins on Saturday, will it be their last victory of the season?

Most likely.

I can tell you with a good level of certainty that BC is not a better team than Notre Dame, and we do not have as much talent as Miami (aside from the fact that BC has not won a game there since Doug Flutie threw a pass into the end zone as time expired). Both will be difficult games to win and the Eagles will probably be underdogs by sizable margins in each.

Besides, I’m not sure what else BC can do to prove to people this season that a strong finish isn’t all that probable. A few Eagles fans, not nearly everyone, got a little carried away with BC beating Maryland, thinking they had officially turned the season around and could make their way to 5 or 6 wins. Then, of course, BC got their butts kicked to Waltham and back again by Florida State last week.

Now, I won’t go so far as to say a BC win here is probable, but it is possible. (After last Thursday, I’m hesitant to call ANY game a “probable” victory.) I would be very wary to translate this game’s results to future weeks if they win, however.
