1.) Will Lane Stadium go silent?
Yes, but not with 11 seconds to play. It will go silent after Hokie fans have gone home following the game.
For the rest of the time, however, you can expect a loud, engaged crowd, similar to the one BC saw against Clemson (and hey, maybe Gene will marvel at how they’re all in their seats at kickoff, too).
Granted, this isn’t the biggest game they will play this year (perhaps closer to Appalachian State than Georgia Tech in terms of weighty games on their schedule), but they know they’re heavy, heavy favorites, and they’re going to be there cheering their team on to a win.
Boston College can try to take the crowd out of the game with a quick, early strike, but the odds of that aren’t looking too good. We can hope, right? Right.
