Duke at Boston College: 5 big questions

1.) Is this a must-win game for the Eagles?
Yes.
Beating Duke, lousy team though they are, would at least get the Eagles “on the board” so to speak, and would demonstrate that they can actually win games this year, even if it’s close. Losing to Duke, on the other hand, would get BC off to their first 0-3 start since the early 90s and would mean that they lost to one of the worst teams in their own conference and on their difficult schedule. A loss here, particularly an ugly one, would point BC in the direction of a 2-10 or 3-9 sort of year and would virtually guarantee that they won’t sniff a bowl game.
BC has to win this game to retain any sort of dignity or hopes of a .500 season.
