This is the closest thing the Eagles have to an “easy” game in 2011, as the Minutemen are the only FCS team they will face. They’re on their way to becoming an FBS school, however, and eventually they will draw in FBS talent, but not yet. BC is on a six-game win streak against UMass and hasn’t lost to them since 1978. You never want to say that it’s in the bag, because even good teams can get bitten by FCS (see: James Madison at Virginia Tech), but the probability of a BC win in this game is probably higher than any other game they will play this season.
