Ranking the 2011 BC football schedule by difficulty, 12th-7th

Some games are just harder than others. In fact, some teams’ schedules are just harder than others. Boston College would seem to be one of those schools which is going to have to face down some tough opposition over the course of the 2011 season. There is only one FCS school on the schedule, UMass, which is being promoted to FBS next season, and as opposed to the last few years where they’ve opened against light competition, that will certainly not be the case now as Northwestern journeys to Alumni Stadium on September 3.

Please keep in mind that just because a team ranks near the bottom of the list, it does not mean they are going to be a pushover. In fact, I see very few pushovers on the grid this time around.
