Load up the truck, we’re moving again

When I joined Fansided in January, it was like moving to a completely new city.

What will happen in the next few days is more like moving to a better apartment in the same building.

For years, I had been coveting the domain “soaringtoglory.com,” but it was owned by someone else. I discovered yesterday, however, that the previous ownership had lapsed and I petitioned my hosts here at Fansided to pick it up. I am very pleased to announce today that they have graciously agreed, and that by this Sunday, the move will be complete.

So, what does this mean? Two things:

1) bcsoaring.com will redirect to soaringtoglory.com, but update your links anyway at the appropriate time (not yet, obviously).
2) The name displayed on this site will be restored to its former self; the one you had come to know for the two years before I came here. Gone will be the “BC” in front of it and back will be the classic moniker.

I look forward to the site’s relaunch by the end of this weekend, and to serving you hysterical rants on Boston College sports for many years to come.
