BC’s 2011 ACC Tournament Draw

Hot off the presses as the Florida State/NC State game went final:

This is a decent enough draw for the Eagles. They’ve got a very winnable first-round game against Wake Forest, followed by a more challenging but still doable game against the Clemson Tigers. From there, it gets more difficult with UNC most likely waiting on Saturday, and Duke likely to play on Sunday. The odds are very favorable that the Eagles will advance to the quarterfinals, if nothing else. This site is a little behind on the predictions (it thinks we’re playing GT), but it gives Wake a 3.44% chance of winning their 5-12 game. It probably favored us over Virginia last year, however, and we all know how that turned out.

This is the bottom line: If BC is playing on Friday, we’re probably OK. If BC is playing on Saturday, we have very little to worry about on Selection Sunday.
