BC football 2010: an interesting schedule indeed
By Joe Micik
I’m sure you’ve seen it by now, but here it is one more time:
Sept. 4 Weber State
Sept. 11 Kent State
Sept. 25 Virginia Tech
Oct. 2 Notre Dame
Oct. 9 at NC State
Oct. 16 at Florida State
Oct. 23 Maryland
Oct. 30 Clemson
Nov. 6 at Wake Forest
Nov. 13 at Duke
Nov. 20 Virginia
Nov. 27 at Syracuse
Home games in bold
Now then, it is pretty front-heavy, isn’t it? Sure, the first two games are basically locks (and God help us all if they aren’t). The two weeks after the September 18th bye, however, are going to be very interesting: we’ll have Virginia Tech and Notre Dame coming in on consecutive weeks. Those will be two big-time games at the Heights one right after another, and both of them could possibly be nationally-televised (we know the ND game will be).
Florida State, Clemson, and an improving Duke team are also in there, with the big finish against one of my least-favorite Duke basketball players of all-time (and there are so many to choose from) at Syracuse. Damn would I love for Mark Herzlich or Luke Kuechly to plant Paulus in the turf on more than one occasion.
My very, very, ridiculously early guess when looking at this schedule is 9-3.
