A brief hiatus

After constant following of college basketball in the past week — dozens of hours of games — now that my team is out of the running, I’ll be taking a little time to catch up on life. Perhaps a brief post on Saturday and then I’ll be back as the brackets are released.

I think we’re looking at a 9 seed, which is pretty much the worst draw I can imagine (if you win, you get a 1). I’d almost rather be a 10 to get the 2 in the second round. It’s all irrelevant in the long run; if BC wins 1 game in the NCAA tournament, I will be impressed. The season is already a success in my eyes. This was nearly a last-place team last year, picked 11th in the conference, and they’re on the verge of a tournament bid. Just win a game in the dance and everything thereafter is gravy.
