BC dumps Virginia by 13

This game went pretty much to plan for the Eagles. Virginia is the worst team in the ACC, regardless of what the seeding says, and BC got the job done. Diane was the big threat today for the Wahoos, not Sylven Landesberg, while on the other end, BC’s manchild/beast Rakim Sanders was well into the 20 point range. The second half was sloppy, ugly, and boring, but BC did what they had to do.

Al Skinner and the BC Eagles are now 5-3 all-time in the ACC Tournament, and have never lost in their first game. They now have a quarterfinal date set with Duke late Friday night.

I would hope the residual bubble talk for BC is finally over. The Eagles now have 22 wins and 10 in the ACC. They’re in.
